Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six pieces of information—gender, birth date, overall health rating, tobacco use, coverage amount, and policy length—are enough to produce quotes. Personal details like your name, address, and medical history are only requested if you choose to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The rates shown are what each carrier quotes for the health category you selected. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm that category, improve it, or adjust it. Quotes are estimates only and do not constitute an insurance offer or a promise of any specific premium.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name and the system generates an application from the quote you selected. The process continues within the secure platform, where you provide additional details, answer underwriting questions, and apply electronic signatures. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance firm (License 0B75129), manages the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

Whether a medical exam is required depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your stated health. Some carriers with fast-track programs decide without exams for eligible applicants. Each quote on this tool shows what to expect for that specific product and carrier.

Is a longer term better?

A term is a commitment to cover the years when your loss would most hurt your family or business: a home loan, dependent children, or business obligations. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock in your rate for more years. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms side by side in the quote tool.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote process collects no contact information; we do not share or sell visitor data with anyone; and our analytics collect no cookies or personal identifiers. Review the privacy page for a complete description of what is tracked and by whom.
